Every Location Verified : Introducing Review and Approve in Event Summary

Review & Approve gives teams a clear view of where every location stands—from field collection to final approval.

Inside Event Summary, each location now has a visible status: In Progress, Completed, Reviewed, or Approved. Reviewers can open a location, edit its data, add comments, and approve it without leaving the event.

A clear status for every location

Whether you're managing a daily field log, groundwater monitoring round, or EHS audit, everyone sees the same status for every location.

No more guessing whether data has simply been collected or has actually been reviewed and approved.

From fieldwork to approval

1. Complete

Field teams continue collecting data from the mobile app. As they enter data, the location is marked In Progress. Once the work is finished, they mark it Complete, making it ready for review.

2. Review

Reviewers open the event in the web portal and see all locations alongside their current status. They can open any completed location, make corrections, and add comments or questions directly to the record.

3. Approve

Once the data is verified, the reviewer marks it Approved. Approved data is locked against further edits. If changes are needed later, the location can be deliberately reopened, with the action recorded in QNOPY's audit trail.

What this changes

Clearer reporting: You can now distinguish between data that has been collected and data that has actually been reviewed and approved.

Built-in accountability: Edits, comments, and approvals are tied to the location, user, and time in the audit trail.

Controlled final data: Approval locks the record, reducing the risk of accidental changes after review.

Review & Approve is available now on the web. Open any event in the web portal and select Review to see location statuses, review tools, comments, edits, and approval controls in one place.
